1. Structural Engineer

Sept 2025 – Present

Military Engineering Services (BD Army), Bangladesh

Organization: Works Dte (E in C’S Br)(Army)

Responsibilities:

Developed computer simulated finite element models using ETABS, SAFE, Sap2000, Geo5, Staad.Pro, Plaxis and Tekla Tedds.
Performed analysis and design following BNBC, ACI 318, ASCE and AISC guidelines.
Visited ongoing construction projects and ensured compliance with all design standards.

2. Engineer Cum Liaison Officer

Aug 2022 – Sept 2025

Ministry of Defence, Kuwait

Responsibilities:

Provided technical support, site visits, liaison work, and coordination with Kuwaiti authorities.
Supported effective command, control, and administration of Bangladeshi soldiers working in Kuwait Armed Forces.

3. Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

Analysis & design performed as per BNBC-2006, BNBC-2020 & ACI 318-11/318-14 guidelines.
Developed computer simulated Finite Element Models (ETABS, SAFE, Sap2000, Geo5, Staad.Pro, Plaxis, Tekla Tedds).
Designed various standard applications with help of various 2D drawing by using computers.
Administered all engineering projects and ensured no conflict in the design process.
Performed various geotechnical assessments in contrast to the project designs.
Designed and evaluated all geotechnical parameters for all project designs.
Coordinated with clients and prepared briefs as per requirements and timelines.
Evaluated work of all team members and prepared geotechnical reports for project.
Prepared presentations to be presented to sponsors and board members.
Inspected ongoing construction work and ensured compliance with design standards.
Ensured compliance to all set standards and recommended changes if required.
Reviewed all geotechnical data and corresponded the same with various design parameters.

Structural design, modification, calculation following the Guideline of BNBC / Alliance For Bangladesh Worker Safety/Stitching Bangladesh Accord Foundation /ARUP, ACI, ASCE, AISC
Development of computer simulated Finite element model (With ETABS, SAFE, Sap2000, Geo5, Plaxis, Staad.Pro & Tekla Tedds)
Checking of lateral load resistance capacity of the Building
Design check for soft story & other structural irregularity (For earthquake & Wind load)
Checking of Special joint detail for earthquake or other lateral loads
Retrofitting design and drawing (If required)
Extensive experience with destructive (Concrete core cutting, rebar sample collection) and non-destructive (Visual inspection, Ultrasonic testing, Rebound Hammer test, carbonation test, ferro-scan, crack determination) testing
